One pump body requires 3,340 pounds of molten cast iron.
New components such as pump bodies, heads, cones, and rotors require high levels of energy input to produce. One pump body, for example, requires 3,340 pounds of molten cast iron. It requires 848KWh to simply melt the cast iron needed for ONE of our NASH CL6000 pump bodies. By comparison, one can heat a typical house in a northern climate for 3 weeks using the energy required to melt one ton of cast iron!
By reusing and reworking existing components, NASH liquid ring pumps included in our UX program avoid the use of new parts that must be manufactured and shipped great distances. This leads to a lower carbon footprint for a rebuilt pump than one might see with a new unit.

The NASH Unit Exchange (UX) program is simple and effective. Nash maintains factory refurbished pumps and compressors rebuilt to our exacting, OEM standards by our team of experienced technicians.
Upon order placement, receipt of the purchase order, and Non-Hazardous material form, a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number will be assigned to the transaction. The core must be securely tagged with the RMA number and shipped to the NASH CERTIFIED™ Service Center as instructed by your Regional Sales Manager.
All NASH UX pumps carry a 2-year warranty that is effective from the date of shipment and can be expected within 48 hours of order processing, subject to availability.
